Tara Hall Bed and Breakfast Dun Laoghaire is a regency-style house built in the early 1780 and is the former residence of Mr William Monk Gibbon the famous Irish poet writer and where George Bernard Shaw attended school in 1867.

The location is ideally situated in Sandycove, near the Joyce Tower and Dun Laoghaire Harbour, the Ferry Terminal and also Dalkey Village and Killiney.

Tara Hall B&B is located on the southside of Dublin city and approximately 10 km from the Dublin city centre. It's conveniently located on the main DART (light rail) to Dublin City and this trip provides some wonderful sea views. The nearest dart station is Sandycove/Glastule which is a 6 minute walk away. The journey to Dublin City Centre (Pearse St. Station) takes only 20 minutes. Tara Hall bed and breakfast is only a 15 minute walk from Dun Laoghaire Town Centre and Ferry Terminal.
